Its good to know the German club. Will it be for anyone as my daughter has taken German for GCSE and would improve on speaking German? would like to know whether it’s for students or adults.

Hello Nethra,
The German Circle is open to anyone with a fairly good mastery of German. The meetings are conducted in German. How much German has your daughter done? To what level? She can always come along just to try us out for an evening. The first meeting of the new year is on Wednesday 4th September at 7.30 pm at Earlsdon Methodist Church Hall. If you enter through the hall’s main doors, continue straight down the corridor and then turn right to the end of the second corridor. The meeting will be in one of the two rooms at the end. Sally, if it is still in order to reply to your query above (the last year disappeared in the Covid-19 haze), I can add you to the list of people meeting through Zoom, as we have not had a face to face meeting since the pandemic started. Our next meeting (on Zoom) is on the 6th October 2021 and it happens to be in English, although the speaker is fluent in German and will take questions and give answers in German: Markus Ferrar: “A Foot in Both Camps”.
